Job Summary We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team in Wodonga, VIC. In this role, you will complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under supervision
n
You Will Make An Impact In The Following Ways
n
n
Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
n
Diagnose and repair engines
n
Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components
n
Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
n
Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
n
Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens
n
Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor
n
n
Additional Information
n
n
Full Time / 38 hours per week
n
Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
n
All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
n
Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate
n
Local Valid Drivers License
n
n




To be successful in this role you will need the following:
n
n
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent
n
Basic level of workshop or field service experience required
n
Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
n
Heavy Vehicle Experience preferred
n
HR License preferred
n
n

Engine Systems Interactions – Analyses electrical and mechanical system interactions to diagnose and repair effectively.

Product Repair & Maintenance – Completes quality repairs and maintenance in line with guidelines and standards.

Service Documentation – Accurately records customer, equipment, technical, and repair information.
n
Technical Escalation – Escalates complex issues appropriately and records troubleshooting activities.
n
