Job Description
A permanent part-time accountant role ****** hours per week) in a boutique Chartered Accounting practice. You'll prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS for clients, with directors reviewing and taking care of client delivery. There is no client-facing responsibility in this role - no client emails, meetings or calls required.

You'll work from the office for part of your week, wholly in-office during the initial probation period while building rapport, transitioning to a hybrid arrangement after that.

Key responsibilities

Prepare financial statements for clients

Prepare tax returns for clients

Prepare BAS for clients

Work with minimal oversight on technical accounting tasks

About you
n

CAANZ qualification preferred (not mandatory)
n
Prior experience in public practice accounting
n
Intermediate or senior level public practice experience
n
Comfortable preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS with minimal oversight
n
Wants meaningful, technically engaging work without the responsibility of managing client relationships
n
