Boilermaker – Aluminium Fuel Tanker Fabrication

Day Shift | Temp to Permanent | Immediate Start TRS Resourcing is partnering with one of Australia's leading manufacturers of aluminium fuel tankers to recruit experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers for our clients workshop.
n

The Role Working within a modern fabrication workshop, you'll be involved in the fabrication, repair and maintenance of aluminium fuel tankers built to the highest industry standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Aluminium fabrication of fuel tankers and transport equipment
n
MIG and TIG welding on aluminium
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
n
Fabricating components to specification and quality standards
n
Repair and modification work as required
n
Working safely while achieving production deadlines
n
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Trade Qualified Boilermaker (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
n
Proven aluminium fabrication experience
n
Experience with MIG and TIG welding on aluminium
n
Ability to read fabrication drawings
n
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
n
Able to work independently and within a team
n
Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
n
Experience building fuel tankers, trailers, transport equipment or pressure vessels will be highly regarded.
n

To Be Successful You Must
n

Be based in Melbourne or surrounding suburbs
n
Hold full Australian working rights
n
Provide two recent work references
n
Have your own basic hand tools (specialist equipment supplied)

Be able to pass a pre-employment medical if required
