About the Role
n
Scottvale Health Club is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. Based onsite at our Toowoomba, Queensland clinic, this flexible role involves delivering high-quality occupational therapy services directly to clients within our health centre. You will be supported by our on-site Allied Health Assistants, who assist with implementing therapy plans and maintaining client engagement.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Conducting in-person, comprehensive assessments to identify clients' functional abilities, limitations, and support needs
n
Developing and overseeing individualised treatment plans to enhance independence, safety, and quality of life
n
Delivering therapeutic interventions onsite, including cognitive training, functional skill development, and recommendations for adaptive equipment or environmental modifications
n
Coordinating with Allied Health Assistants to ensure therapy plans are carried out effectively and safely
n
Collaborating with clients, families, and other health professionals to provide coordinated care
n
Maintaining accurate client records and contributing to the development of therapy resources
n
Participating in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development activities
n
What We're Looking For
n
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy
n




Minimum of 2 years' experience, ideally in community-based or rehabilitation settings
n
Registration with AHPRA as a practicing Occupational Therapist
n
Strong clinical reasoning and practical
assessment/intervention
skills
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support in-person client and team interactions
n
Effective time management and organisational skills to manage a centre-based caseload
n
A passion for empowering clients to achieve goals and live independently
n
