Due to continued company growth, we are seeking an experienced Aluminium MIG Welder / Fabricator to join our busy manufacturing facility in Carrum Downs, Victoria.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, welding specifications, and fabrication plans
n
Manufacture and assemble aluminium fabrication projects to high-quality standards
n
Perform high-quality MIG welding on aluminium components and structures
n
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
n
Measure, cut, grind, finish, and prepare fabricated parts with precision and attention to detail
n




Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure structural integrity and compliance with specifications
n
Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and production staff to deliver projects on time
n
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
n
Assist with custom fabrication projects including platforms, ladders, access systems, walkways, stairs, and industrial safety equipment
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and quality control processes
n

About You
n
n
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or similar qualification)
n
Minimum 1 year experience in aluminium MIG welding and fabrication
n
Strong aluminium MIG welding experience is essential
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
n
Experience assembling and welding components to high quality standards
n
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
n
Reliable, hardworking, and punctual attitude
n
Ability to meet production deadlines and supervisor targets
n
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance
n
