Wiggles and Giggles Childcare Centre – Penrith NSW

We are seeking Qualified Educators who will support the team in creating an educational program that caters to the individual needs of the children. You will work alongside others to provide a learning environment that is safe, welcoming and challenging for all children and their families.

Key responsibilities
n
Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in the team
n
Complying with the centres policies and procedures along with licensing, legislations and regulations
n
Assisting children with their daily routines and supporting them in their learning
n
Creating a stimulating setting to foster and support children's development
n
Being reliable, professional, punctual, enthusiastic and passionate about children's education,



care and inclusive practices
n
Having an understanding of workplace health and safety
n
About you
n
Unrestricted working rights in Australia
n
Must have a qualification in early childhood education and care
n
Must have a current NSW Working with Children's Check
n
First aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualification is preferred
n
Previous experience working in an early childhood service
n
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
n
Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and National Quality Framework
n
Current knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
