Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions in C & Oracle DB.
n
Design and implement High-Availability solutions that meet strict SLA requirements.
n
Ability to maintain and support real-time, 24x7 middleware solution systems.
n
Build and support mission-critical, high-volume, long-running Unix server processes.
n
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize performance and reliability issues.
n
Work independently in a small, highly focused team with minimal supervision.
n
Deliver results in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments.
n
Mentor team members in best practices for software development and delivery.
n
Produce clear technical specifications and maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation.

Education and Professional Qualifications
n
Experience
n
n
Over 10 years of software development experience in C, including at least 2 years in a team lead role.
n
Proven expertise in C, Pro*C, PL/SQL, and Unix development.
n
Familiarity with object-oriented development in Oracle PLSQL using PLSQL Objects
n
Extensive experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
n
Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
n
General knowledge of containerisation in Docker or Podman environments.
n

Understanding of Agile practices and Scrum techniques.

Proficient with Git for version control.
n
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Solid experience with Linux/Unix systems.

Compilers & Build Tools: GNU C Compiler, Unix Make
n
Programming Languages: C, Pro*C, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Python

Databases: Oracle 19c+, development and administration.
n
Database Development: Solid relational database programming skills on Oracle
n
Testing: Build and utilise in-house unit and integration testing frameworks
n
Security: Build and utilise in-house encrypted toolsets
n
