Cook/Chef to start ASAP - 5 days a week no weekends

We are seeking
enthusiasticpassionate
educator for in our family owned and operated service. Our service has an exceeding rating under A and R and offers above award wages as well as staff discount to offer the best support we can to our educators. No Vaccination requirement needed.
n
Include statement of commitment to child safety and cultural safety.
n
Cook for a position in our day care service.
n
Daily cooking lessons in the rooms and also feel included in the room program.
n
Be able to work on your own and help develop menus with the manager.
n
Experience in a kitchen is preferred. No weekend work.
n
Clean and up to date with the food regulations.
n
Start time is flexible and looking at a 7 hours day. 7.00am-2.30pm or 7.30am -3.00pm. this can be flexible as you manage your hours to ensure food is prepared on time for the children.
n
Need to complete a child protection course along with food safety courses.
n
Hold a P blue card or can apply for the blue card.
n

We also have an onsite chef who supplies all meals, along with many incursions including yoga and bush Kindy for our Kindy room.

You will need:

Current Blue Card (or willing to obtain)
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)
n
If you hold a Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma would be helpful.
n
Child protection certificate through our RTO.
n
Food safety and allergies certificate .
n
Have a passion for early education
n
Be friendly, loyal, honest and reliable
n
Ability to work within a team and unsupervised
