Job Description
About The Opportunity
n
FCM is expanding our Canberra business and we need a new leader at the front. You will lead a team of travel experts, supporting key Government travel accounts, shaping both performance and culture from the ground up.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Travel Consultants
n
Build strong relationships with Government and corporate clients, driving retention and growth
n
Oversee daily operations, ensuring service excellence, SLA delivery and process compliance
n
Support complex bookings, escalations and technical problem-solving
n
Identify opportunities to improve performance, profitability and customer experience
n
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless service outcomes
n
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive
n
n
Experience & Qualifications
n
n
5+ years' experience in the travel industry (corporate or retail)
n
Previous leadership or senior Travel Consultant experience
n
Strong GDS expertise, ideally Sabre
n
Proven ability to manage complex itineraries and client relationships
n
Commercially minded with strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
Experience working with KPIs and driving team performance
n
n
