About the Role
n
The Team Leader Water Services is responsible for a variety of tasks within Inverell Shire, including but not limited to:
n
n
Performing and supervising staff in the day to day maintenance and repairs of the water reticulation networks within Inverell, Ashford and Yetman.
n
Liaising with our fitters on the maintenance and repair of water infrastructure such as pumps and tanks.
n
Inspections of water infrastructure across the Shire, including at our water treatment, storage and distribution assets.
n
Participation in an on-call roster on a rotating basis, and occasionally carrying out breakdown repairs while on-call or after hours.
n
n
Remuneration shall range from $1,****** to $1,****** gross per week, inclusive of an Adverse Working Conditions allowance. Overtime and other allowances are payable where applicable.

Examples of qualifications or training that would be advantageous:
n
n
Certificate III in Water Industry Operations, or another relevant trade qualification in conjunction with suitable industry experience.
n
Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in a team.
n
NSW Class C drivers licence.
n
SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('White Card').
n
High Risk Work Licence for Dogging (DG).
n
Enter and work in confined spaces unit of competency.
n
Conduct civil construction excavator operations unit of competency.
n
Identify,
locate and protect underground services unit of competency.
n
Work safely in the vicinity of overhead electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker unit of competency.
n
Completion of an approved course for supervisors.
n
Knowledge and skills in the use of computer applications including e-mail, Microsoft Office suite, and other work-related devices and systems.
n
