Promtel Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Warehouse Operator to join our team at our Castle Hill, NSW facility. This is a full‐time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead warehouse operations and contribute to the success of our 3PL warehousing, storage and distribution services. As a Senior Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse facilities, overseeing inventory management, coordinating logistics operations, and building a cohesive and productive warehouse team. This position is integral to maintaining our high standards of efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Overseeing and completing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatching of goods
n
Managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and availability
n
Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, high pickers and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
n
Coordinating with warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
n
Acting as a go‐to, experienced presence on the floor - guiding, training and sharing best practice with the team
n
Maintaining warehouse organisation, cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with relevant regulations
n
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity
n
Maintaining integrity of our warehouse management system by recording warehouse activities and ensuring accurate records of inventory movements
n
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies
n
Troubleshooting operational issues and liaising with management to resolve problems promptly
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Someone who is looking to grow into a warehouse manager role and has an interest in robotics and automation
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse operations,



with at least 2 years in a supervisory or informal supervisory role
n
Demonstrated proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts (high reach, double deep) and pallet handling equipment (relevant certifications required)
n
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software
n
Proven leadership and team supervision skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
n
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and managing inventory
n
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse environments
n
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks daily
n
Problem‐solving skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
n
Confidence to work independently, balanced with a genuine team‐player mindset
n
High school completion or equivalent qualification
n
Preferred: Experience in 3PL or manufacturing distribution sectors
n
