What we are looking for:
n
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to provide frontline leadership to a field-based works team delivering scheduled and reactive road construction and maintenance activities. This hands‐on role supports the Supervisor through on‐site coordination, technical guidance and strong safety leadership to ensure works are delivered on time, to specification and to Council standards.

What your day will look like:
n
n
Supervise and coordinate daily works activities and allocate tasks
n
Provide on‐site leadership, coaching and support to field crews
n
Ensure WHS compliance, safe systems of work and traffic management
n
Support work programming, resourcing and problem solving
n
Coordinate plant, equipment and materials efficiently
n
Record works, timesheets and job data in Council systems
n
n
What you'll need for success:
n
n
Valid class C or CA driver licence (provisional or open) to drive a vehicle in Queensland
n
General Construction Induction (White Card)
n
Demonstrated experience leading a field-based works team
n
Strong knowledge of WHS and risk management in construction environments
n
Ability to deliver scheduled and reactive works to quality and timeframes
n




Effective communication skills and customer‐focused approach
n
Ability to use mobile devices and works management systems
n
n
What's nice to have:

Certificate III (AQF Level 3 or above) in Civil Construction
n
Current First Aid Certificate
n
n
