An established organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their collaborative payroll team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, confidently manage business-as-usual payroll processing, and support a friendly team workplace.

Working within a high-volume payroll environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting the wider payroll function.

Key Responsibilities
n

End-to-end processing of business-as-usual payroll
n
Interpretation and application of the SCHADS Award
n
Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
n
Managing leave, superannuation and payroll reconciliations
n
Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers
n
Maintaining payroll data integrity and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
n
Supporting the payroll team during busy processing periods
n
n
About You
n
n
Proven experience in a Payroll Officer position within a medium to large organisation
n
Demonstrated experience interpreting and processing payroll under the SCHADS Award
n
Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
n
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Availability to commence immediately
n
