Network Administrator | 3-Month Contract | Sydney CBD

3-Month Contract with potential extension

We're seeking a Network Administrator augmenting one of our client's based in Sydney for a initial 3 month contract.
n
As a Network Administrator, you will play an integral role in maintaining and enhancing the network infrastructure that supports seamless operations.
n
Your Role and Responsibilities:
n
n
Monitor and report on network and communications platforms to enable a swift response to downtime or other issues
n
Undertake investigations and report on performance problems and downtime to inform continuous refinement of practices that reduce the likelihood and impact of future incidents
n
Design and implement computer networks that meet performance and security requirements
n
Proactively identify risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
n
Participate in regular replace or refresh projects, ensuring probity, value for money, and best practice
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
Experience working as a Network Administrator, with hands-on expertise in managing and maintaining complex network infrastructures.



Key technologies include:
n
Proficiency with Global Protect VPN
n
Experience with IPsec Tunnels
n
Strong understanding of Certificate Management
n
Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switches
n
Cisco Wireless Controllers (Virtual)
n
Arista Switches
n
Palo Alto Firewalls (both physical and virtual)
n
Demonstrable experience with and understanding of IP networks, LAN / WAN / MAN environments, network security principles, and other core networking components,
n
Experience working within the live entertainment, broadcast, or sports industries, with familiarity in technologies such as Dante, DMX, and QSYS will be highly regarded
n
