About the role
n
This is a hands-on delivery role suited to a reliable driver with multi-drop delivery experience and a strong understanding of food handling and food industry requirements. You will safely operate an MR truck for daily deliveries, completing multi-drop routes to customers across Melbourne.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Safely operate an MR truck for daily deliveries
n
Complete multi-drop deliveries to customers across Melbourne
n
Unload food products safely and efficiently
n
Follow food handling, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
n
Complete delivery paperwork and ensure accurate customer deliveries
n
Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with customers
n
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
n
Ensure products are handled and transported in accordance with food safety requirements
n
Start work promptly at 5:00 AM
n

About you
n
n
A current MR driver's licence
n
Proven experience in multi-drop delivery
n
Previous experience delivering within the food industry
n
Positive knowledge of food handling and food safety practices
n
A robust understanding of Melbourne roads and delivery routes
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
A reliable, punctual and professional approach
n
The ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule
n
Good physical fitness, as the role involves regular loading and unloading
n
A current VicRoads Driver History Report must be provided as part of the application process
n
Delivering food products (HIGHLY REGARDED!!)
n
