Job Description
Dubbo Health Service is seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Registrar to support Emergency Department coverage.
n
This role is suited to an ED Registrar with recent Emergency Medicine experience who is confident working in a busy regional ED setting. You will work alongside FACEMs and JMOs, supporting patient assessment, treatment planning, clinical documentation and escalation of care where required.

Clinical Environment:
n
Emergency Department setting at Dubbo Health Service
n Working alongside FACEMs and JMOs
n Afternoon/evening shift pattern, generally 14:*******:00
n Supportive hospital environment with senior escalation pathways available
n Suitable for doctors with recent Emergency Medicine registrar-level experience
n
Key Duties:
n
Assess and manage ED presentations
n Support treatment planning and patient flow
n Complete clinical documentation and handover
n Escalate patient concerns appropriately
n Work collaboratively with FACEMs, JMOs, nursing and hospital teams
n
Eligibility Criteria:
n




Current AHPRA Registration
n Recent Emergency Medicine registrar-level experience
n Robust communication and clinical documentation skills
n Ability to work safely within scope and elevate appropriately
n Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
