Cater Care is seeking a versatile, energetic, and detail-oriented Weekend Catering Assistant / Chef, to work within our friendly team at Uniting - Nareen Gardens, Bateau Bay, NSW
n
Roster
n
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
n
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced workplace, possesses strong foundational culinary skills, and takes pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences from prep to clean-up.
n
What this role involves:
n
n
Food preparation
n
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
n
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
n
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
n
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
n
n
The ideal candidate will have:
n
n
Previous experience in commercial kitchens, food preparation andcatering service would be well regarded
n
Valid Food Handler / Food Safety Certification
n
Strong Knife skills, basic batch-cooking expertise,



and ability to follow standard recipes accurately
n
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
n
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
