Cybersecurity Services is a specialist team within Digital Services, responsible for protecting the technology, information and digital services that support healthcare delivery across Tasmania.

The Role
As the Senior Manager - Cybersecurity Services, you will lead the strategic direction, delivery and continuous improvement of the Department's cybersecurity function.
You will provide expert advice to senior executives, drive the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives, and lead a high-performing team responsible for protecting critical technology and information assets.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced leader to influence organisational strategy, foster strong stakeholder partnerships, and help shape the future of cybersecurity across Tasmania's public health system.
You will need
Proven experience leading cybersecurity programs, services and teams in a complex organisation, with the ability to develop strategy, manage resources and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to provide trusted advice and translate complex cybersecurity issues for senior executives and non-technical audiences.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in cybersecurity, information technology, business management or a related discipline.
A security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is highly desirable.

Details of appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you are able to join our Team!
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Whilst flexible work arrangements are available, this position requires a Tasmanian-based presence.
$144,169 to $153,844 per annum.
Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public sector Union Wages Agreement ****.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications in business management, ICT, information management or a cybersecurity related discipline
A security clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (Secret), or the ability to obtain one
