Focus Engineering & Construction (Trading) Pty Ltd is seeking an Experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Corowa, NSW. This is a full time position offering a fantastic opportunity to utilise your expertise in a dynamic and growing organisation. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality fabrication and welding services to our diverse client base, contributing directly to the success of our projects and the reputation of our company.

What you'll be doing
n
Performing MIG, TIG and stick welding on various materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
n
Fabricating structural steel components and assemblies according to engineering specifications and drawings
n
Operating fabrication machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
n
Inspecting work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
n
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and work orders
n
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
n
Collaborating with other team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met
n
Performing maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment as required
n
What we're looking for
n
Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder, with demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, stick)
n
Current and valid welding certifications relevant to the welding processes you will be performing
n
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
n
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
n




Sound knowledge of health and safety practices in a fabrication workshop environment
n
Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
Reliability and a professional work ethic
n
Experience in a similar trade and services fabrication environment is highly desirable
n
