THE ROLE
n
As a Cruise Travel Consultant, you'll work with high-end clients looking to book memorable cruise holidays throughout Australia and around the world.
n
You'll manage enquiries via phone and email only – there are no walk-in clients, allowing you to focus on building relationships, providing expert recommendations and converting enquiries into bookings.

Manage a range of domestic and international cruise enquiries
n
Consult with clients to understand their individual travel needs, preferences and budgets
n
Recommend cruise lines, ships, itineraries and travel products best suited to each client
n




Create and book memorable cruise holidays
n
Manage client enquiries efficiently and ensuring requests are actioned within required SLAs
n
Provide expert advice across cruise products and destinations
n
Maximise sales opportunities while maintaining a consultative approach
n
Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat and referral business
n
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the booking journey
n
Manage booking amendments, documentation and other travel requirements
n
Work towards individual and team sales and service KPIs
n

Potential hybrid working arrangement following six months in the role. The first six months are office-based five days per week; eligible employees may then be considered for up to two work-from-home days per week, subject to performance and KPIs.

THE MUST HAVES
n
We're looking for an experienced travel professional who already has a strong background in cruise sales and consulting.
n
n
Previous experience as a Cruise Travel Consultant or strong cruise-focused travel consulting experience
n
Excellent knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for cruise products, cruise lines and itineraries
n
A proven track record of achieving or exceeding travel sales targets
n
GDS qualifications and/or strong GDS experience
n
Excellent telephone manner and the confidence to build rapport with clients remotely
n
Strong sales, communication and interpersonal skills
n
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building ability
n
Excellent organisation and time-management skills
n
The ability to prioritise multiple enquiries and meet required service deadlines
n
A proactive, positive and results-driven approach
n
A genuine passion for cruising and creating exceptional travel experiences
