About the role
n
SCA Engineering Pty Ltd is expanding the services they offer and are looking to employ Fitter- Welder tradesman to join their team. The position are for immediate start and remunerations will be discussed at the interview. Paying well above the award rate.
n
What we are looking for in the Fitter- Welder:
n
n
AQF Certificate 111 in Engineering
(Fabrication/Fitting/
Welding) or equivalent
n
At least 3 years relevant hands‐on experience as a Fitter- Welder
n
Able to assemble fabricated metal parts together using power tools
n
Able to carry out quality control check on fabricated components and assembly
n
Mechanically minded with strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and welding processes (Mig & Tig/Arc)
n
Experience in setting up and operating a Press Brake, Guillotine, Laith, Mill and Hydraulic Press
n
Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings
n
Able to use hand tools safely and efficiently
n
Ability to work both as a team member or independently
n




Physically fit and capable to carry out duties as required
n
Own Transportation & current drivers license
n

What we offer

Good remuneration and some overtime.

Work alongside experienced Tradesmen in a well equip factory.
n
All training offered in using CNC Press Brake, Saws, Drills, Roller and plasma.
n
We fabricate a variety of products, no 2 days are the same. You will have the chance to work with aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel, in both heavy fabrication and sheet-metal work.
