About the Role
n
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our freight forwarding team. This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient handling, receiving, checking, staging and dispatch of freight. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understand the importance of accuracy, safety and meeting deadlines.

2:00pm - 10:00pm

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Receive, unload and check incoming freight
n
Pick, pack, label and prepare freight for dispatch
n
Load and unload containers, trucks and other vehicles
n
Sort, stage and consolidate freight for delivery
n
Operate order pickers and forklifts
n
Assist with container devanning and loading
n
Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation
n
Safely handle cartons, pallets and other freight
n
Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with workplace safety requirements
n
Report damaged, missing or incorrectly labelled freight
n
Follow company procedures and all workplace health and safety requirements
n

About You
n

Reliable, punctual and committed to getting the job done
n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
Able to work in a busy freight/warehouse environment
n
Safety-conscious and attentive to detail
n
Comfortable following instructions and working independently when required
n
Experienced in warehouse, logistics or freight forwarding environments
n
n
A current LO licence and experience operating an order picker is ESSENTIAL.
n
