JMG Heavy Auto Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking a full time Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and servicing of a range of heavy commercial vehicles and machinery.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Diagnose and repair issues with heavy diesel engines, transmissions, diff, and other components
n
Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles and equipment
n
Perform electrical repairs and diagnostics
n
Use specialized tools and equipment to effectively complete repairs
n
Maintain detailed records of work completed
n
Ensure all work meets the highest safety and quality standards
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Formal qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or a related automotive trade
n
Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle qualification is required
n
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the commercial vehicle or construction equipment industry
n
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
n
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
n
HR license recommended
n
