Job Description
You will be responsible for your allocated section and work across restaurant, room service, conferences, weddings and events. You will manage your allocated section and ensure smooth service, prepare and present food to a consistently high standard, and work closely with the Head Chef to maintain quality and consistency.

Prepare and present food to a consistently high standard

Complete mise en place accurately and on time
n
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
n
Assist with stock control and minimizing food wastage
n
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain quality and consistency
n
About you
n
Trade qualified Chef (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
n
Strong cooking skills and attention to detail
n




Ability to work effectively under pressure
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene
n
Desirable: Hotel, restaurant or functions experience and Food Safety Supervisor qualification
