Located on the stunning Mornington Peninsula, Portsea Hotel is looking for a passionate and driven Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a busy, high-volume environment and wants to develop their skills alongside an experienced and supportive kitchen team.

What we're looking for
n
n
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
n
A genuine passion for food and developing your culinary skills
n
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
n
Strong time management and organisational skills
n
High standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
n




Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
n
A calm, skilled and positive approach under pressure
n
Willingness to learn, take direction and support your fellow chefs
n
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
n
Must have own transport or reside in the area
n

What you'll be doing
n
As part of the Portsea Hotel kitchen team, you will:
n
n
Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of your section
n
Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard
n
Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and hygiene standards
n
Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
n
Assist with preparation, service and kitchen organisation
n
Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen culture
n
Continue developing your culinary skills and knowledge
n
