About the role:

Carinity -Talerahave an exciting opportunityfor an enthusiastic Child and Family Therapist to join the team.This role provides quality therapeutic and resourcing interventions for children/young people and families referred to Carinity Communities Programs.
n
In this role you will utilise a collaborative case management approach to strengthen family relationships, enhance children's safety/wellbeing and develop supporting networks within the community.
n These roles require ***** hours each fortnight, worked Monday to Thursday between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM (must be available on Wednesdays).
n
What do I need for the role?
n
n
Minimum 4+ years specialist counselling experience supporting children/young people and their families in relation to domestic and family violence, child abuse, neglect, and attachment and trauma
n
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in risk assessment and safety planning where domestic and family violence is an issue
n
Tertiary qualification/s in psychology/social work/counselling or similar relevant discipline
n
Hold a current Suitability for Working with Children card (Blue Card)
n
