As Head Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our nursing team while remaining hands‐on clinically.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Leading and coordinating the nursing team
n
Managing daily workflow, staffing and delegation
n
Maintaining high standards of nursing, surgical and anaesthetic care
n
Supporting complex and orthopaedic cases
n
Mentoring and developing junior nurses and trainees
n
Driving clinical standards, protocols and continuous improvement
n
Providing support and leadership during busy and challenging days
n
Working closely with our vets, management and clinic owners
n
n
About you
n
n
An experienced veterinary nurse with strong surgical and anaesthetic skills
n
Confident making decisions and leading a team
n
Organised, calm and proactive
n




Approachable and supportive
n
Comfortable delegating and holding people accountable
n
Passionate about patient care and high clinical standards
n
Committed to developing those around them
n
Previous senior/lead nurse experience is highly regarded
n
n
