Receiving & despatching trucks asrequired
n
Support the preparation of all high care orders, providing stock to the feed room and helping packing area whenrequired
n
Responsible for preparingGRN labels for the shift and rotating stock (FIFO: first in first out)
n
Print out daily orders for picking, prioritise
workloadaccordingly
n
Collect stock from storage and palletise to customer specification as instructed (pick, re-pack,stackand label)
n
Checking and counting/weighing stock on arrival and noting down details and print out all required labels to meet
customerspecification
n




Check stock quality is acceptable for customer orders and communicate any issues to high care feed roomsupervisor
n
Relocate stock to a secure holding area ready for despatch (cool room, in warehouse racking or despatch area)
n
Keep packaging areas tidy andsafe
n
When high care is notoperatingon anyparticular days, you willbe
requiredtoassistwith
the packing lines & forklift duties in Lowrisk
n
You will be responsible forkeeping the outside pallet areas tidy andsafe
n
If during your daily duties you notice product thatdoesn'tmeet the correct labelling requirement (a date code, GRNlabel, grower traceability) notify the stock management team and rectify theproblem
n
Be vigilant of open cool room doors, high cool room temperatures, path
obstructionetc.Ensure
that product quality is alwaysoptimised
n
Removing all packaging and raw material waste to waste area
n
Take responsibility for the maintenance and cleanliness of the
forkliftoperatedthatday
n
Ensure all forkliftsare returnedto battery area and charged ifpossible
n
Other ad hoc tasks, asrequired
n
Desired Skills and Experience
n
Computer Knowledge/skills are desirable
n
Ability to work within cold
storageenvironments
n
Knowledge of warehousing environments
n
You will be a great communicator, both verbal and written, confident with meeting new people
