Are you a passionate Secondary Teacher with expertise in Physics and Senior Mathematics who is committed to inspiring young people and creating engaging learning experiences?
n
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Secondary Teacher – Physics and Senior Mathematics to join our team in a full-time, fixed-term position for the **** school year.
n
The successful applicant will have the ability to teach Physics and Senior Mathematics, with the ability to teach Mathematical Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics considered an advantage.

Your Role
n
n
Deliver engaging and effective Physics and Mathematics learning programs aligned with relevant curriculum requirements
n
Teach Physics and Senior Mathematics across relevant Secondary year levels
n
Plan, assess and monitor student learning, providing targeted support and meaningful feedback
n
Foster critical thinking, problem-solving and a genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics and Science
n
Maintain a safe, inclusive and well-managed learning environment
n
Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
n
Work collaboratively with a passionate and supportive teaching and leadership team
n
Contribute to the broader life of the College
n
Participate in a spiritually vibrant culture aligned with the College's Christian mission and values
n

About You
n
You will have:
n
n
A practising Christian faith and the ability to actively support and promote the College's Christian ethos
n
Demonstrated ability to teach Physics and Senior Mathematics
n
The ability to teach Mathematical Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics will be highly regarded
n
Strong knowledge of relevant curriculum and senior assessment requirements
n
Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
n
A Bachelor of Education or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
n
Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
n
