About the Role
n
As an Auto Electrician, you'll play an significant role in maintaining the performance, reliability and availability of a large fleet of heavy mining equipment. Working alongside an experienced maintenance team, you'll deliver high-quality preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs in a safe and efficient environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on heavy mining equipment
n




Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
n
Troubleshooting electrical systems and completing fault-finding activities
n
Carrying out breakdown repairs and component replacements
n
Inspecting equipment and identifying reliability improvements
n
Completing maintenance documentation and work orders accurately
n
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
n
Working collaboratively with operations and fellow tradespeople while maintaining a strong safety focus
n

About You
n
You're a qualified Auto Electrician who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship and thrives in a mining maintenance environment. To be successful, you'll have:
n
n
Australian recognised Trade Qualification as an Auto Electrician
n
Experience maintaining heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
n
Current ARC (Air Conditioning) Licence
n
Current Queensland Driver Licence
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork
n
A proactive attitude and focus on delivering quality outcomes
