Our client is a Global Cyber Security product company.

They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on low-level iOS and Android projects.

systems level programming not application development.
n
Ideal candidate has expertise in C++, Java, or Objective C.
n
You will work on high-speed Cyber Security products used by public companies with high traffic eCommerce websites.
n
The Team:
n
The
internationalengineering
team includes experts in device identification, device intelligence, fraud detection, real time systems, Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, machine learning, and data analytics.
n
Agile engineering team using concepts such as Scrum, Continuous Integration, self-organizing teams, and Continuous Improvement.
n
The Position:
n
We are looking for a highly talented and experienced Engineer to work in the client facing technologies team. This is a broad role that touches on a number of different platforms, operating systems and programming languages.
n
The primary focus will be iOS and Android and also covers web-based, OSX and Windows based products.
n




Role involves constant research and the ability to figure out how things work beyond available documentation. A desire to know how things work is a must.
n
This is not an application development role.
n
Technical Skills
n
n
Knowledge of C/C++/Objective C/Java, and expert in at least one.
n
Knowledge of system programming principles and systems level programming.
n
Build and debug mobile SDKs
n
Threaded and concurrent programming.
n
n
Personal Skills
n
n
Explicit and effective communicator of technical issues.
n
Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
n
Ability to accept criticism and provide feedback (eg code reviews).
n
Desire to understand what makes things tick.
n
n
Experience
n
n
At least 5 years in development, 10 years is ideal.
n
Experienced with writing unit tests.
n
Mobile development, ideally systems level.
n
n
