Your Role
n
You'll take responsibility for a small maintenance crew and the day‐to‐day delivery of quality garden maintenance across high‐end residential properties throughout Brisbane. This is very much a hands‐on leadership role.
n
You'll be working alongside your team while also making sure jobs run efficiently, standards are maintained and clients receive the level of service they expect.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n

Leading and motivating a small garden maintenance crew
n
Organising the day and keeping your team on track
n
Maintaining high‐end residential gardens
n
Pruning, hedging and detailed plant care
n
Mowing, edging and presentation work
n
Planting, mulching and seasonal garden maintenance
n
Weed and pest management
n
Monitoring plant health and identifying maintenance requirements
n
Ensuring each property is presented to a consistently high standard
n
Communicating professionally with clients when required
n
Training and mentoring less experienced team members
n
Maintaining safe and effective work practices
n

Requirements
n
What We're Looking For
n




You might already be running a garden maintenance crew, or you could be an experienced gardener who has naturally become the person others turn to and is ready to officially step into leadership.
n
Either way, you'll need strong practical garden maintenance skills and the confidence to take responsibility for both people and outcomes. Ideally, you'll bring:
n

Solid experience in garden or landscape maintenance
n
Strong horticultural and plant knowledge
n
Experience leading, supervising or mentoring others
n
Strong pruning, hedging and garden‐care skills
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
Ability to plan and organise your team's workload
n
Confidence communicating with clients and team members
n
A positive, hands‐on leadership style
n
Current QLD driver's licence
n
n
A horticultural qualification would be highly regarded, but practical experience, leadership ability and the right attitude are equally important.
n
