About the Opportunity
n
Seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst to support a major cyber security uplift and resilience program. The successful candidate will work within a dedicated cyber security team, contributing to governance, risk and compliance activities while supporting broader organisational security objectives.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Contribute to solution design by providing cyber security expertise and guidance.
n
Review and provide recommendations on security requirements and controls.
n
Develop communications, reports and documentation to support executive decision-making.
n
Coordinate and support security assurance activities, including security assessments and penetration testing.
n
Lead the development and maintenance of formal security governance and compliance documentation.
n
Engage with technical and business stakeholders to achieve program outcomes.
n
Support cyber security governance, risk and compliance initiatives across the organisation.
n

Essential Skills and Experience
n
n
Strong knowledge of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and Essential Eight.
n
Demonstrated experience working in Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) roles.
n
Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes.
n
Experience developing security governance, risk, compliance or assurance documentation.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n

Desirable Skills and Experience
n
n
Five or more years' experience in cyber security governance, risk and compliance related positions.
n
Experience working within Australian Government environments.
n
Familiarity with security assurance frameworks and security accreditation processes.
n
n
