We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Accountant to join our Wagga branch and become part of our supportive finance team.
n

We're looking for a motivated graduate accountant who is eager to build practical finance experience in a supportive, hands‐on environment. This role is well suited to someone with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in developing their accounting skills across a broad range of day‐to‐day finance functions.

Accounts support
n
n
Process supplier invoices, maintain records and assist with supplier payments
n
Support accounts receivable processes, including debtor statements, overdue account follow-up and credit applications
n
Complete bank, EFTPOS, petty cash and credit card reconciliations
n
Assist with fuel accounts, reimbursements and routine finance administration tasks
n
n
Month-end and reporting
n
n
Maintain asset register records and supporting documentation
n
Assist with month-end reconciliations, reporting and preparation of supporting documents
n
Help identify and resolve discrepancies with guidance from the Financial Controller
n
n




General administration and learning
n
n
Work closely with the finance team to learn internal systems, processes and dealership operations
n
Provide practical administration support across finance and sales‐related accounts tasks
n
Develop confidence and capability through exposure to a broad range of accounting functions
n
n
About you:
n
Recently completed, or currently completing, an accounting, business or finance qualification
n
Skills:
n
n
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n
High attention to detail and a careful, accurate approach to work
n
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
Explicit communication skills and confidence working with others
n
Basic Microsoft Office skills and an interest in learning accounting systems
n
