Pohkay Hyde Park is looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team, working Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to start.
n
About the role
n You'll be a key part of our kitchen, helping keep prep, cleaning, and service running smoothly. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who works well under pace, keeps a clean station, and takes pride in food quality and hygiene.
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
Food prep (chopping, portioning, marinating proteins, prepping toppings)
n
Maintaining stock levels and rotating ingredients
n
Keeping kitchen and prep areas clean and compliant with food safety standards
n
Washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
n
Supporting front‐of‐house during busy periods when needed
n




Following recipes and standard operating procedures
n
n
What we're looking for
n

Reliable and punctual, available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
n
Comfortable working in a fast‐paced kitchen environment
n
Good hygiene and food safety habits (or willingness to learn — training provided)
n
A team player with a positive attitude
n
Previous
hospitality/kitchen
experience is a bonus but not essential
n
