$75,600–$80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide high-quality education and care for children aged birth to six years.
n
Plan, implement and evaluate learning programs based on the EYLF V2.0 and children's individual interests and needs.
n
Maintain meaningful observations and documentation of children's learning.
n
Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families.
n
Maintain active supervision, educator-to-child ratios and children's health and safety.
n
Support children's routines, inclusion, wellbeing and positive behaviour.
n




Lead and support educators, trainees, students and volunteers.
n
Contribute to critical reflection, service improvement and the Quality Improvement Plan.
n
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, National Regulations and Bright Bees' policies and procedures.
n
Follow all child-safety, child-protection and mandatory reporting requirements.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. A Diploma is preferred for the Room Leader position.
n
Minimum one year of relevant full-time experience, or equivalent part-time experience.
n
Sound knowledge of the EYLF V2.0, NQF and NQS.
n
Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration, or eligibility to obtain it.
n
Current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain them.
n
Required child-protection and national child-safety training, or willingness to complete it.
n
Strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
n
A genuine commitment to child safety and inclusive practice.
n

Skills in Demand visa (Subclass 482) sponsorship may be considered for suitable applicants under our company-specific labour agreement. Applicants must meet all applicable qualification, experience, English-language, health, character and Department of Home Affairs requirements.
