Mandurah Coast Care Community islocated in the coastal town of Mandurah, and our 53-bed light-filled home is conveniently located to take in the amenities of the regional centre. Set amongst towering trees providing a leafy outlook from most advantage points, our Care Community has many peaceful areas inside and out. Our memory care neighbourhood provides a safe and inclusive environment for residents who are living with dementia.

About the Role

$***** base rate + Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays, plus 12% superannuation.

As a General Services Officer, you will play an key part in creating a welcoming home for residents, families and visitors. You will assist with meal service, maintain clean and comfortable living spaces, support laundry processes and contribute to a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with food preparation, meal plating, dining room setup and meal service.
n
Maintain high standards of cleanliness across resident rooms, common areas and service areas.
n
Support laundry services, including collection, washing, folding and distribution of personal clothing.
n
Follow food safety, infection control, manual handling and workplace health and safety procedures.
n
Build respectful relationships with residents, families, visitors and team members.
n
Report maintenance, safety or wellbeing concerns to the appropriate team member.
n
Contribute to a warm, supportive and person-centred aged care setting.
n
n
About You
n
n
You have robust communication skills and a friendly, respectful manner.
n
You can work both independently and as part of a team.
n
You are willing to work across catering, cleaning and laundry duties as required.
n
Previous experience in aged care, hospitality, cleaning, catering or laundry is desirable but not essential.
n
Completion of required pre-employment checks and mandatory training.
n
A passion for helping people and making a difference in your community.
n
Reliability and a strong work ethic.
n
Ability to complete pre-employment medical, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
