Tertiaryqualifications
as a Building Surveyor with a training institution listed inSchedule 2 – Qualifications and experience of the NSW Building and
DevelopmentCertifiers
Regulation ****
n
Registered with the Building Commission NSW as a Building Surveyor
n
A full working knowledge of the National Construction Code – Building Code of Australia
n
Broad and specific understanding of EPA Act, ****, Building & Development Certifiers Act, ****; Swimming Pool Act ****, Local Government Act, ****, & associated Regulations as they apply to these Acts
n
Proven ability in effective written and oral communication
n
Demonstrated ability to review processes and procedures and to improve service delivery
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications
n
Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WH&S; and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times
n
High level customer service skills
n
Practical experience in fire safety assessment forClass 1b & 2-9 buildings
n
Experience in a supervisory role
n
Experience in group presentations
n
