Detailed Job Description:
n
Seeking a senior platform engineer tolead the migration of the internal platform from its current RKE-baseddeployment to OpenShift. This is an ownership role — the candidate will drivethe migration from design through to full productization and operational handover,working closely with SMEs.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Own the end-to-end migrationof the platform from RKE to OpenShift from design through build, testing, andfull productization.
n
Take/participate in platformre-architecture decisions in collaboration with SMEs
n




Stand up and configure theOpenShift environment, ensuring parity and improvement over the existingRKE-based platform.
n
Implement
fulloperationalization:
monitoring, alerting, and alarm integration for the newplatform.
n
Manage onboarding of L1/L2support teams onto the new platform, including runbooks and supportprocesses.
n
Take complete technicalownership of the migration programme, coordinating with cross-
functionalstakeholders.
n
Support APIGee
platformintegration
points as required
n
n
Required Skills &Experience;
n
n
Strong hands-on expertise in OpenShift(design, deployment, and administration).
n
Solid understanding /experience of RKE (the platform being migrated away from).
n
Experience
withplatform/infrastructure
migration projects, ideally in a telecom or networkoperator environment.
n
Familiarity with
monitoring/alerting/observabilitytooling
and operationalization practices.
n
Ability to work independentlyand take end-to-end ownership of a transformation programme.
n
Telecom/network domainexposureis highly desirable.
