Eastern Suburbs Private Hospital (ESPH), located in Randwick, is part of the Macquarie Health network. We are a boutique 38 bed Medical and Rehabilitation hospital. We have a committed team of Rehabilitation Specialists, Allied Health and Nursing staff, dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The Role
n
We are looking for Registered Nurses and EENs on a permanent full time/part time/casual basis. In accordance with a rotating roster, you will be expected to work some night shifts.
n
We are also looking for agile Nurses keen to explore other opportunities outside the realms of their current Nursing practice.
n
Duties
n
n
Provide safe and efficient nursing care specific to each patient's clinical, physical and psycho-social needs.
n
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in conjunction with the patient's comprehensive care plan and goals of care.
n
Supervise the health, safety, nutrition,



hygiene and comfort of the patient.
n
Respect patient privacy and confidentiality.
n
Honour the cultural beliefs and practices of our diverse patient population.
n
Encourage communication between the patient and their family/carer and members of the health care team.
n
Ensure accurate and informed handovers to deliver continuous patient care.
n
Document accurate and contemporaneous clinical notes.
n
n
To be successful in the role you will need
n
n
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting in Australia.
n
Working with children clearance, National Criminal Record Check.
n
Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary team.
n
Working knowledge of Quality and the NSQHS standards.
n
Team leader skills and experience.
n
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
n
FIMS accredited and AROC endorsed accredited.
n
Experienced as a quality controller.
n
Training and education (TAE) certified trainer.
n
Experience in Quality Management.
n
n
What we offer
n
n
Registered Nurse: $***** - $***** + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, plus penalties.
n
Endorsed Enrolled Nurse: $ 30 - $36 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, plus penalties.
