Hot and Cold Airconditioning Pty Ltd is seeking a Qualified Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Sydney. This is a full-time or contract position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and installing air conditioning systems for our valued clients across the Sydney region. As a skilled technician, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality A/C solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the reputation of our business. What you'll be doing
n
Installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems for residential and commercial clients
n
Diagnosing faults in air conditioning equipment using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge
n
Performing preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance
n
Conducting refrigerant handling and recovery in compliance with environmental regulations
n
Testing and commissioning newly installed systems to meet industry standards
n
Providing technical advice to clients regarding system operation and maintenance
n
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts used
n
Ensuring all work is completed in a safe and professional manner, adhering to workplace health and safety requirements
n
Responding to emergency service calls and providing timely solutions to customers
n
What we're looking for
n
A recognised air conditioning and refrigeration qualification or equivalent trade certification
n
Proven experience working as an air conditioning technician in a professional setting
n
Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, including heating, ventilation and cooling equipment
n




Proficiency with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
n
A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation for attending client sites
n
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
A commitment to health and safety compliance and best practice standards
n
Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments and conditions
