Global property investment and development business with a growing portfolio of projects across multiple asset classes. The organisation has a strong balance sheet, an experienced leadership team and a long term approach to creating value through development, repositioning and active asset management.

The role
n
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will provide financial and commercial support across a portfolio of current and proposed property developments.
n
Working closely with development and project leaders, you will assess the commercial viability of new opportunities, track project performance and provide recommendations that improve investment outcomes.
n
This is an analytical and stakeholder-focused position suited to someone who understands the financial drivers of property development and can confidently influence commercial decisions.

Evaluate the financial viability of proposed property developments
n
Develop financial models covering project revenue, costs,



timing and investment returns
n
Review development assumptions and challenge stakeholders where appropriate
n
Assess the financial impact of changes to project scope, delivery timing and construction costs
n
Prepare commercial recommendations for recent projects and major investment decisions
n
Produce concise investment papers for executive and board consideration
n
Track project performance against approved commercial parameters
n
Investigate emerging cost pressures, delays and changes in expected returns
n
Maintain rolling forecasts across the development portfolio
n
Provide transparent analysis of project performance and expected financial outcomes
n
Compare actual project results with original investment assumptions
n
Complete post-investment reviews to identify lessons for future developments
n

To be considered for this role you will need:
n
n
At least three years of experience in property development finance, investment analysis or property advisory
n
Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel capability
n
