Veolia is seeking an Operator Maintainer to join our Water team at the Luggage Point Advanced Water Treatment Plant in Pinkenba ****.
n
This is a varied, hands on role combining plant operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, sampling and first-line maintenance. You'll work as part of an experienced team supporting the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project.

What you'll be responsible for
n
n
Monitor plant operations and respond to SCADA alarms
n
Troubleshoot plant, equipment and process issues
n
Carry out routine and breakdown maintenance
n
Maintain pumps, motors, pipelines and other process equipment
n
Collect samples and complete basic laboratory analysis
n
Support plant commissioning and optimisation activities
n
Complete operational records and update maintenance systems
n
Participate in the operations on-call roster
n

What you'll need to be successful
n
n




Experience operating or maintaining water treatment or similar process plant equipment
n
Hands on experience with pumps, motors, pipelines or mechanical equipment
n
Knowledge of PLC or SCADA systems
n
