About The Role
n
This is an excellent opportunity to join our operations team based at Lilydale and play an integral part in supporting families and stakeholders through the delivery of a range of services.
n
This role is the entry level for the Cemetery Operations Officer - Burial role. New staff will complete a training needs analysis upon commencement and undertake training within their first 12 months of employment to progress to a Level 3 which includes duties such as excavation, elevated work platform operation and shoring.
n

One RDO (Rostered Day Off) per fortnight

Full-time, permanent

Salary: EBA Level 2.1 ($77,****** + Super)

Location: Lilydale
n
n
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
n
n
Assist the team with day-to-day operations such as grave set up & presentation
n
Identifying and checking accurately,
the location of a grave site
n
Tractor trailer operation
n
Assist families and stakeholders with on-ground queries
n
Safety first: actively contribute to a workplace culture where OHS is given highest priority in all activities
n
n
About You
n
n
Demonstrated experience in a similar or comparable role
n
Current Victorian driver's licence (mandatory)
n
Machinery tickets such as excavator or backhoe licence (desirable)
n
First Aid Certificate (desirable)
n
People-focused communication and interpersonal skills
n
Someone who enjoys working outdoors and in a team environment
n
