Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor looking for the opportunity to step into a leadership role with genuine career progression?

Our client is an established and growing industrial operation and is looking for a hands on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of 6 to 7 Technical Operators.
n
The Role
n
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Technical Operators who act as machine owners and carry out the day to day maintenance of their equipment.
n
You will provide technical and breakdown support, help develop the team's maintenance capability and ensure strong maintenance structures and processes are in place.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading, coaching and supporting a team of 6 to 7 Technical Operators
n
Providing hands on technical and breakdown support when required
n
Supporting the team with fault finding and structured problem solving
n
Developing a strong machine ownership and preventative maintenance culture
n
Driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across the site
n
Championing structured problem solving and root cause analysis
n
Managing maintenance stores, spare parts and inventory
n
Coordinating and managing external contractors
n
Managing maintenance activities and records through MEX
n
Supporting improvements in equipment reliability, uptime and overall operational
performanceEnsuring




maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
Building strong processes and accountability while taking a supportive and people focused approach to leadership
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
A Mechanical or Electrical trade background
n
Electrical experience would be highly regarded
n
Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring a maintenance or technical team
n
Strong mechanical and maintenance fault finding skills
n
Experience working with automated machinery, conveyors or industrial equipment
n
Robust understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance
n
Experience with CMMS systems, ideally MEX
n
Experience managing contractors, spare parts and maintenance stores
n
A passion for continuous improvement and Lean principles
n
Strong structured problem solving and root cause analysis skills
n
A hands on leadership style with the ability to coach and develop others
n
