Payroll Systems SME role within a major systems transformation

Focus on payroll integrations, configuration and systems change

18-month fixed-term contract

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll Systems Specialist to join a major business transformation program.
n
Working across Payroll, Finance, HR, IT and project teams, you will act as the Payroll Systems SME, providing functional expertise as new systems, integrations and enhancements are introduced.
n
This is not a BAU payroll processing role or a system implementation. The focus is on understanding how system changes impact payroll systems, processes and the broader business.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Act as the functional SME for payroll systems
n
Support payroll system integrations, configuration and reporting
n
Assess the payroll impact of system and process changes
n
Support testing, enhancements and implementation activities
n
Troubleshoot complex payroll system and integration issues
n
Partner with Payroll, Finance, HR, IT and project stakeholders
n
Maintain payroll accuracy, data integrity and compliance throughout system changes
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
Extensive hands-on payroll systems experience (Aurion or similar advantageous)
n
Strong payroll systems capability, ideally as a systems super-user or SME
n
Experience across payroll integrations, configuration and reporting
n
Exposure to HRIS/payroll transformation or systems projects
n
Robust understanding of payroll processes and downstream system impacts
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
n
n
Previous Aurion implementation experience is not essential. Strong payroll systems knowledge and the ability to apply that expertise within a transformation environment are the priority.
