Service & Parts Manager
to lead our service and parts departments. In this dual role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a dedicated team of technicians and advisors, and drive customer satisfaction for our
KGM
and
Peugeot
brands.

What We Are Looking For
·
Technical Qualification:
A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
·
Industry Experience:
Proven background in automotive service or parts management.
·
Dual Capabilities:
Strong understanding of both workshop mechanics and inventory control.
·
Financial Performance:
Meet and exceed monthly revenue, efficiency, and inventory targets.
·
Communication Skills:
Excellent leadership abilities to motivate a team and resolve customer queries.
·
Customer Excellence:
Ensure a Premium, seamless experience for every guest.
·
Compliance:
Maintain manufacturer standards for warranty claims and parts ordering.
·
Systems Literacy:
Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and manufacturer portals.
·
Team Management:
Mentor, schedule, and support technicians and service/parts advisors.
·




Department Leadership:
Manage daily workflow across both service workshop and parts inventory.

Role Two:
Light Vehicle Technician
Auto Centre Townsville is looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Automotive Technician or a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice to join our growing workshop team!
For over 25 years, Auto Centre Townsville has proudly been the home of Peugeot, KGM and Quality Used Cars in Townsville. If you're reliable, motivated and passionate about the automotive industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (No weekend work!)

We're looking for someone who:
Is a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic or a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
Has strong diagnostic skills
Holds a current unrestricted manual driver's licence
Is reliable, hardworking and motivated
Works well independently and as part of a team
Takes pride in maintaining a safe and organised workshop
