The Role
n
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting clients, developing junior team members and delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Supporting a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
n
Providing technical guidance, coaching and feedback to junior team members
n
Reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and activity statements prepared by junior accountants
n




Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
n
Identifying opportunities to add value and strengthen client outcomes
n
Collaborating with colleagues across the business to deliver exceptional client service
n
Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming a valued adviser in their corner
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A tertiary qualification in Accounting
n
CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
n
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements
n
Experience working within public practice

n
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Experience using Xero, including a working knowledge of payroll
n
A genuine interest in technology and finding smarter ways to work

A desire to mentor and support the development of others
