About the Role
n
Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking an Environmental Service Worker - Cleaner to join our St James Retirement Village in Heatley, Townsville. As part of our team, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming setting for our residents, helping them to enjoy their home and community.
n

About You
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Previous cleaning experience, preferably within aged care, retirement living, hospitality or a similar, multi-disciplinary environment.
n
A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
n
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
A friendly, respectful and professional approach when interacting with residents.
n
An understanding of workplace health and safety and safe cleaning practices.
n
Reliability,



initiative and a strong work ethic.
n

Key Criteria

Essential
n
n
Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
n
Current National Police Check - or ability to acquire.
n
Valid Australian working rights - unfortunately, we are not currently able to sponsor.

Desirable

Certified II in Cookery or similar
