As a Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in supporting participants with clinical needs and helping our care team deliver safe and effective support
n
This is a casual position with weekday availability required for at least 2-3 days per week, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Flexible working arrangements may be available depending on participant needs and service requirements.
n
n
Developing and reviewing individualised care plans for participants with clinical and complex support needs.
n
Providing community nursing services, including wound assessment and wound care.
n
Supporting medication management and administration in accordance with relevant clinical requirements and participant care plans.
n
Assessing participants' health needs and identifying changes that may require clinical intervention or escalation.
n
Supporting meal planning and nutrition-related needs, in collaboration with participants and relevant health professionals.
n
Providing guidance, education and clinical support to Disability Support Workers and the wider care team.
n
Supporting participants with complex and critical health needs, ensuring appropriate monitoring, documentation and escalation.
n
Liaising with GPs, allied health professionals, families, support coordinators and other healthcare providers to promote continuity of care.
n
Maintaining accurate clinical records, progress notes, assessments and care documentation.
n
Promoting participant choice, dignity, independence and quality of life while maintaining high standards of clinical care.
n
Identifying and reporting clinical risks, incidents, deterioration and safeguarding concerns in a timely and professional manner.
n
Contributing to a strong culture of clinical governance, safe practice and continuous improvement.

About the Candidate
n
n
Degree or master's in nursing.
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical nursing, preferably in disability, community, or aged care settings
n
Demonstrated ability to apply the IDDS framework (Intellectual Disability and Dementia Services) in participant care
n
Demonstrated knowledge and application of the NDIS Practice Standards, including clinical compliance, restrictive practices, risk assessment, and participant safeguarding
n
Certificate in Medication Administration Training or equivalent
n
Current First Aid & CPR
n
Current Working with Children Check
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Current Infection Prevention & Infection Certificate
n
MAPA training not mandatory but desirable
n
n
About You
n
n
Registered with AHPRA and able to practise as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
n
Experienced in community nursing, disability, aged care or complex care environments.
n
Confident providing clinical support to participants with complex or high support needs.
n
Skilled in wound care, medication management and clinical assessment.
n
A strong communicator who can work effectively with participants, families and multidisciplinary teams.
n
Compassionate, respectful and committed to person-centred care.
n
Well organised, reliable and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
n
Committed to maintaining professional standards, clinical documentation and participant safety.
